The University of Kentucky KATS program will be hosting a  Green UP workshop on March 5 from 9 am until 4 pm.  Sign in begins at 8:30 and lunch will be provided. This clinic will feature demonstrations and an interactive experience for clinic participants. Registration is limited and the cost per participant is $105.

**Most of this training will be held outdoors, so please dress accordingly. 



  • Aphid scouting and evaluation of natural enemies on different aphid species
  • Managing nitrogen for wheat
  • Identifying and managing soil compaction
  • Adding another profit center to your farm: cover crops as a forage
  • Economics of soil testing
  • Geologic/soil relations of western and south central Kentucky...Impact on productivity?
  • Economics of baled wheat straw

Plan on attending multiple workshops and recieve a discount.
The discount for the multiple trainings is a separate registration link.  You can pay a one time $275 registration fee, which entitles you to attend the equivalent of 3 workshops (2 half days would equal 1 full day) Paid individually they are $105 for a full day, $65 for a half day.
